Let me start off by saying the photos show my gel manicure after one week.
I was at Southlake Mall and decided to get a manicure on a whim to treat myself. This was the first time I went to this place and also the first time I got a gel manicure. The technician was nice enough, but she did a sloppy job by getting polish over my cuticles and the sides of the nails. As my nails are growing, the polish is already starting to peel. Had I known this is what happens with a poorly applied gel manicure, I would have insisted she clean off the polish around each nail. I regret giving her a 20% tip and not saving my receipt to get a refund.
Update: I some the next day and my nails are severely chipped. I'm going to go and see if they will repair. I was very happy with my nails but can not proudly conduct business with my polish like this.
From the moment Inwalked through the front door, I felt taken care of and appreciated as a customer. They were clean, fast, profrssiomal, and used very very high quality products. The place is decorated well and centrally located. I made an appointment for two weeks and gave a 20% tip for quality service and efficiency.
STAY AWAY!! Today will be the last time I spend my hard earned money here. The young man with fish tattoo sleeve RUSHED my fill in causing a slight burning sensation. ????????When I asked him to slow down, he became itrate and refusd to continue with my nails. He said I was being disrespectful. And that someone else could finish them. I decided not to let any of them finish my nails. It will be a cold day in hell before I come here again. This whole situation has left my nails looking crazy just in time for the holidays ????
Full set acrylics start at $30/$35 and somehow they wanted to charge me $75. An extra $40. I was getting a simple design that should have been $7 and then the nails shaped which is typically $5 at any salon I’ve been too. Then he said it was extra for long nails? Which my nails weren’t even that long! I’ve gotten nails longer and never had to pay extra. Place is an extreme rip off. Never going back.
ASK FOR LINH! Linh is the only nail artist I trust and also the only reason I still come to this place. Trust me, if you can’t get her than leave or ask to comeback later.
Horrible. The man who did my nails the first time had a horrible attitude and hurt me on purpose because I wanted acrylic nails. Didn’t give me what I wanted at all and didn’t even do my nails correctly. They tried to lie to me and tell me I had to remove all my nails to get my nails done and I only had 3 nails broke. They had the nerve to charge me for a full set even though it was a full in. My nail broke in one day and I came back and went to a female who was the male’s friend. He called my nails cheap when she asked why they broke. They stay thinking people don’t understand what they are saying. They are rude and unprofessional I don’t recommend this place at all.
I went in and had a set of acrylic nails done. Firstly, the man that did my nails had torn, dirty gloves that he was wearing before and after the break he went on when he sat me down to do my nails. He never measured them so they’re all uneven; he seemed in a huge hurry to finish up and get me out to where he wasn’t speaking much, just shoving my hands back towards me when he wanted my nails under the UV light. He also ended up grinding off all of my cuticles which I let him know was hurting me especially when I started to bleed. I hadn’t noticed the bleeding until I got back to my car, walked back in to ask for any sort of compensation which was denied. He disinfected and cleaned the blood off my cuticles and told me I had dry skin even though while he was doing my nails, he kept getting distracted or overall pushed way, way far up on my cuticle. Overall horrible service and I’m not sure why I thought it would be a decent salon to try.
I had a really great experience here. I got a pedi and they took me in really quick and had everything ready so no wait, the man doing my nails was extremely attentive and my nails turned out looking great. 10/10 I'm going to keep coming back for pedis.
